Although it was several decades ago, I still remember my first published short story in Shumawa Burmese Magazine in November, 1983.
At that time, I was working as a House Surgeon in Mandalay General Hospital (MGH), Mandalay, Burma. The House Surgeon Quarter was located at the west side of MGH compound, not far from Medical Unit I (MU-I) and Blood Bank.
